How do we awaken our innate ability to dream the world into being? How does the cellular memory of our body's creation in the womb affect the way we live as creative beings on this planet?
What does it feel like to be an active participant in creation and evolution? How does our primal relationship with our mother relate to our creative relationship with Mother Earth?
In this four-part qigong form we'll retrace our primal journey and reclaim our birthright: a mutually creative relationship with the Earth and the Universe around us.
1) Conception -- The Enneagram Crystal: nine aspects of the soul are breathed into being.
2) Gestation -- The Infinity Flower: the embryo growing; the heartbeat connecting Creation and Creativity; the flowering of the heart.
3) Birth -- The Tree of Life: the newborn is present, grounded in a body, holding heaven and earth.
4) Earth -- The Water/Rainbow Womb: aligning humanity's three dantiens with the three dantiens of the earth, the human body symbolically merges with the earth's body, awakening a new relationship between Heaven, Earth, and Humanity to birth a New Earth.
Once learned, Earth Beauty Qigong takes 15 minutes to practice and is not difficult to do. However, there is a much to learn in order to absorb the gifts of the form. We'll be opening to multiple dimensions of creation and creativity. We'll be activating our individual conception-to-birth cycles so that we can reconceive and rebirth ourselves every year.
We'll learn new movements, playing with time and space, awakening hand/feet/eye coordination. We'll memorize words and numbers, draw with both hands, chant melodies and rhythms, take sound journeys into the dreamtime, listen to stories, journal, meditate, breathe, and connect to Nature -- in other words, we'll immerse ourselves in Creation and Creativity.
On our first night together, we'll prepare to enter the realm of the womb. We'll create a safe and nurturing cauldron in which to grow and dream. We'll invoke the healing of our soul's relationship to the divine feminine archetype to restore gratitude and love for our birth mothers, their ancestral lineage, and Mother Earth.
The form can be done silently, but during the learning process we'll be speaking out loud. This will allow the resonance of the words to awaken in our cells. The atmosphere will be gentle and playful but also very focused.
Why learn this form?
"Earth Beauty Qigong" is coming into the world at a time of heightened duality and widespread conflict. But it's also a time of great possibility. Awakening our ability to listen to the Earth, to exchange intelligence rather than impose control, may be an important step in our evolutionary journey. If we are to know ourselves as conscious creators, we need to awaken our inner knowledge of creation as well as our outer knowledge of the natural world.
We also need to embrace the paradox that we are vulnerable, fragile, fallible humans who are capable of beauty, intelligence and creativity beyond measure. If we we can hold the spaciousness of this paradox within, the external "false" duality in the world around us may begin to dissipate.
Learning "Earth Beauty Qigong" will be beneficial for:
-- Activating your 9-month conception-to-birth cycle to align your creativity with your creation
-- Awakening your co-creative relationship to the earth
-- Healing your primal relationship with your birth mother and the divine feminine
-- Reclaiming passion and purpose for manifesting projects and dreams
-- Enhancing intuitive awareness
-- Nourishing joy, vitality, tenderness, gentleness
-- Attuning to oneness (the womb is a world of oneness)
-- Bringing children into the world with conscious awareness
-- Becoming a participant in conscious evolution
All levels of experience with Qigong are welcome -- from beginners to alchemists. You do not need to be focused on any particular form of artistic expression -- just willing to participate with a pure heart. We are throwing out old definitions of creativity and opening to new possibilities. Our time together will be a deep and concentrated immersion guided by the spirit of playful inquiry as we learn the form.
We'll be exploring this new realm of creative potential together. Each person who learns the form will birth its gifts into the world in a unique way.
Our intention will be to restore the continuum between our Creation in the womb and our Creativity in the world, so that as humanswe can join with Heaven and Earth to consciously dream our world into being.
What to Bring (optional):
-- A mat, meditation pillow and soft blanket for sitting meditations and sound journeys. There may also be chairs for meditations, depending on the space we're in.
-- A personal journal -- preferably one with unlined pages for personal notes, dreams, doodles, and drawings, so that you can keep
a private diary of your journey.
Suggested Reading (optional):
"Birth Without Violence" by Frederick Leboyer. This book can be read in an hour. It is a work of art that will speak directly to your cells.
A Note About Sound Journeys:
If we have access to a grand piano, we'll do at least one group under-the-piano session. If not, we'll use sound recordings that I'll prepare beforehand by tuning into the group energy, as well as live vocal sound.
The Origin of Earth Beauty Qigong
I began studying Tai Chi in 1982 with Franklin Kwong, and later studied Soaring Crane Qigong for several years with Ronger Shen and Yi Wu in New York City. My life changed course in 1992 when I had a seven-day kundalini experience in which I was taken apart and dissolved back to the moment of my conception. I emerged into a state of oneness that lasted for several weeks. During this time I had a vision of a Rainbow Womb gently birthing a New Earth.
I began to pay attention to the 9-month cycle between my conception and birth dates, and the cycle awakened in me. It began revealing how it had been silently directing my life. It also began aligning with my creativity.
Two years later I became seriously ill with Chronic Fatigue Syndrome. No longer able to function, I left my life as a jazz musician in New York City. I moved to a small town on the Delaware River and embarked on an extraordinary healing journey under the tutelage of Nature. Out of this experience came two gifts: a vibrational modality entitled "Dreaming In Music" (dreamers lie underneath the piano, journeying into the dreamtime as I play into their bodies) and "Earth Beauty Qigong."
Both of these technologies were transmitted to me by the trees, flowers, stones, and waters of the beautiful Delaware River Valley. As I walked by the river everyday, I learned to be silent and listen. The earth came alive with vibration to heal and teach me.
I began studying qigong with Michael Winn in 2004 and discovered that my 1992 kundalini experience had taken me into the realm of Internal Alchemy. My focus on the prenatal began to make sense. My personal experience began to merge with what I was learning. That summer (after taking "Qigong Fundamentals") the first three parts of "Earth Beauty Qigong" were transmitted to me as three separate forms, which I began practicing.
In 2008, after completing the Internal Alchemy courses, Michael's "Cosmic Amoeba" form (from the Congress of Heaven and Earth) became the final part of "Earth Beauty Qigong" (renamed "The Water/Rainbow Womb") and precipitated the crystallization of all parts of the form into one.
I anchored and refined the form in China on the China Dream Trip in May of 2010, birthing it out of the Sun and Moon Cave at Mount Huashan. When I returned home to the river, I realized even more deeply the beauty of what had transpired and knew that it was time to share the form.
My twenty-year journey into the prenatal realm has birthed me into a new way of living. Each year my conception-to-birth cycle reveals another level of awareness and unlocks a deeper dimension of creative joy.
My practice of "Earth Beauty Qigong" continues to be guided by the vision of The Rainbow Womb gently birthing Heaven, Earth and Humanity into a new era of peaceful co-creation.
My qigong teachers have included Franklin Kwong, Ronger Shen, Yi Wu, Michael Winn, Ron Diana, Karen Sorvik, Tina Zhang, Mantak Chia, and Robert Peng. I dedicate "Earth Beauty Qigong" to them and to Mother Nature, the great teacher of us all.
About Kazzrie and her work:
"'Earth Beauty Qigong' is an Alchemical Catalyst for reactivating our connection to the Unity Template. The Unity Template is an energetic grid. It links up to and communicates with all of Creation, like a giant meridian system. It connects everything, from the microscopic to the cosmic. It's inter-dimensional and multi-universal (consisting of multiple universes). It's dynamic, yet balanced. It's continually creating new forms of life and energy. It's self aware, yet impersonal." (Rick Gridley, Healing Arts Practitioner, Teacher)
"Working with Kazzrie has facilitated some of the most profound shifts of my spiritual growth and transformational process. Each "Dreaming In Music" session took me to new levels of spiritual understanding and opened new doors to my journey. These sessions came at a pivotal point in my professional life and were very instrumental in helping me make the inner shifts necessary to bring tremendous outer manifestation." (Alan Seale, Spiritual Development and Life Coach; Author of "Intuitive Living: A Sacred Path" and "Soul Mission-Life Vision")
"Kazzrie has great warmth and compassion which comes through in everything. She is a great facilitator. You work without realizing that you are doing the work! She is warm and loving and supportive. I am rebirthed! Life as an artistic expression, creation!!!" (SEC Conference Participants)
"Kazzrie's work is exquisite and unparalleled." (Julie Motz, Teacher, Author of "Hands of Life")
"Kazzrie has a natural infectious exuberance and she not only re-harmonizes the standards of the jazz repertory but she has re-harmonized her whole body. She's got the boogie in her left hand and the solar winds in her right. When listening to her you can't help thinking about ceremonies at Stonehenge five thousand years ago or wading into the morning waters of the Ganges to thank the river for coming down from the sky. You start thinking flying carpets might not be so fictional after all, as you sit there transported. She is capable of turning a piano into a hurricaine. She is a transcendant pianist -- beyond compare." (Mark Weber, Poet, Jazz Radio Host KUNM)
". . . she is onto something very original . . . she is a striking talent . . . and a talent with a strong personality." (Robert Palmer, New York Times)
"Since I can remember I've felt like I've had to 'jump in with both feet' or 'explode onto the scene.' I never felt that I was caught up. These feelings were very deep and definitely part of my psyche. Working with Kazzrie once a month for nine months helped me realize my very beginnings all the way back to conception. Our discussions brought to light many things that I hadn't known or consciously been aware of. I was two months premature. The music that reverberated through me as I lay under the piano was strong, sometimes chilling, enchanting, and most helpful in me realizing my potential. I was finally able to experience those two months I was rushed out of, and in that time I became more creative and patient with myself. I reclaimed the warmth and nurturing that I'd longed for due to my short stay in utero. I've now been able to 'claim my space' in new ways. In my home and studio I've claimed physical space that I need in order to grow artistically. Emotionally, claiming my space means taking my time. I've begun taking tasks to completion and really enjoying that feeling. Spiritually, claiming my space and time leaves room for emptiness and oneness. (Ellany Gable, Ceramic Artist)
"Following the first trimester of my pregnancy with twins, I came for monthly sessions under Kazzrie's piano. The music washed over me and through me, bringing me into the here and now of being. I came away from the sessions refreshed and profoundly touched, the music resonating in me for days. This ritual helped me to stay centered and focused on the unfolding life within me. The joy and peace I felt following the sessions surely affected the well-being of the babies and their development. The energy of the music created a rich and loving sound world for them to experience in utero, which I believe they must remember on some cellular level. In addition, Kazzrie gently guided me to explore the rhythm and meanings of my own birth story as I prepared for the birth of my daughters. Following the birth, I went for a final session with my two newborns and we all lay under the piano again. In looking back, these monthly visits were an initiation and an invitation to birth myself as I was preparing to birth my daughters. They mark both the beginning of my daughters' journey into life and the beginning of my sacred journey into motherhood." (Lucia Ruedenberg-Wright, Dancer/Artist)
"Kazzrie has the Touch of Life. She doesn't touch one with her fingers, but with her music and her radiant energy. The "Full Kazzrie" is administered under her piano. I was there for 28 minutes. My Heart knew it was good. I lay there afterwards for over 30 minutes unmoving but deeply moved. Since then I have been inside a legend, I have become a legend. I am whole. I love this life. I am strong, and I can do my work." (Howard Keiser, Artist/Poet)
